With a Tree Inventory, trees are
identified by where they are located on the site and their species. The
trees are assigned individual identification numbers and tagged for easy
reference. The tree locations and numbers are then documented on a site
plan to expedite future action plans. The Inventory is a 'one-time' event.
All actions refer back to and stem from this documentation.
Trees are identified by location,
species, health and vigor. Each tree receives the arborist’s evaluation
and care recommendations. Properties can be mapped and data stored in
databases for easy retrieval. Inventory programs assist customers in
recognizing the importance of creating maintenance budgets associated with
their property to ensure the maximum benefit of their tree assets.
Whether a tree is a native heritage or an installed
ornamental, it represents a substantial investment on most any property.
Trees can reduce heating costs during the winter months and cooling costs
during the summer months, provide shade for pedestrians and vehicles, and
create habitat for wildlife. |
